Also, just because the batter doesn't swing on a 3-0 count doesn't mean he didn't have a green light. Usually the batter is looking for a specific pitch in a specific part of the zone. If he like is low and inside, and it's high and away, he's not going to swing, but still had the green light.

That has been brought up multiple times and he doesn’t have an answer for this logic. Got to applaud him, though, for sticking to his guns.

Generally speaking if a pitcher throws 3 straight balls it you take one to see
If it’s because he can’t throw a strike.
