I see in a lot of people’s mock draft that they don’t predict he will go in the first round. Wasn’t he a projected top 10 picks most of the year? What’s been his deal?

Not playing in the bowl game has made some question his attitude/character/commitment.

Some in the media want that penalized.

Good grief! There weren't any issues when he was at LSU...Sure he could have possibly ended his playing career a bit better....But move on.

They are worried about his willingness to come up and tackle in run support. Not the most physical player.

But, as long as he runs a good time in the 40, I’d be surprised if he’s not a top 2 CB taken. He is the best cover corner in the draft and will be GREAT at the drills. His height, length, range, and ball skills are exactly what you want in a CB in today’s nfl.

Out of all the responses, I think this is the only one that has any backing

How else would you explain why he’s fallen so much?

From reading around on many sites the questions are tackling as mentioned, lack of effort at times and the Bama/TAM tape. 2 games against top level wrs and he got roasted. No one questions his talent or skill at the position just those things. When deciding between 3-4 guys with miniscule amounts of difference they have to find things to differentiate between guys.

Depending on the Mocks you look at, he’s still a top 10 pick. On virtually all the mocks I know of, he’s the 1st through 4th dB taken. Usually 1st or 2nd CB. I only checked 4 mocks today, 2 had him around 8, one in the 20s and one in round 2. The one I. Round 2 was the only one in which he wasn’t 1 or 2 in corners.

Greedy is going to be a successful MFL corner. It may cost him up front, but I’m hoping he slides to the end of the 1st round and lands with a great team. #NFLU

Because its accurate. Once he runs the forty the media will be back on him and remember that corners don't tackle in the NFL anyway. Once Deon Sanders got to the league the focus on tackling has dimmed every year to now when you see one that does tackle well its "holy shite" he actually can tackle... Today's NFL doesn't reward tackling anyway it penalizes it.
