Not even close slackster! He’s benefited way more than LSU! Think about it before posting such nonsense!

When he gets drafted in the first round and Coach O uses that on every recruiting trip, LSU and Greedy will be more than even if they aren't already.

It's absolutely the point. The bowl game is meaningless. That's why he's not playing in it. If it meant a championship, he would be playing.

No, it's not the point. The point is obviously going over your head. I was responding to a very specific argument. And according to that argument, he would be just as justified in sitting out the championship game. It's a very simple extension of logic. Again, go back and read closer before telling me something that totally misses the point.

For you top athletes, help a 5'9" white guy out with something... players projected as first rounders, what are they going work on as they prep for the draft? 40yds in a straight line??

For starters, they've probably stopped going to school a while ago. You can fail the fall semester and still be eligible all fall, but not be eligible for the bowl game. If you're not coming back, going to school is mostly pointless.

Team needs him for this game.
Turns his back on his team during the bowl game no less!!!
Dead to me.

He won't care that I don't like his decision. Oh well. That is my opinion. No longer his fan. Will always root against any player/quitter that walks away from their team mates.

Chickenshit. Just sit out the season if you're scared of an injury. What a diservice to his team. Screw the Fournettes and Bosas of the world.

Here's what you said you dumbass.
quote:

What if LSU was playing for the national championship? How is that situation any different? Would you applaud him sitting that game out, too? Since he has a daughter and all? Give me a fricking break.

Sitting out a national championship game and an exhibition are two totally different things. As I said, do you really think he would sit out a national championship game?

The team really could use Devin White next year. Will you toot against him when he leaves as a junior?

If not, what's the difference in logic?

Don't know, ask Fulton who's having surgery that will keep him out of the entire spring...

So you would compare winning some football games and maybe being thought of highly by some recruits as DBU to you getting free college, free drinks and great memories for life, lots of ladies, popularity, a platform to go to the NFL, prolly not even having to try in college, and many more benefits? Man, the world would be a wonderful place if we all thought like you!

Good luck and thanks for being a tiger. All the selfish fans can deal with it however they want.

LMAO ... you're acting as if Greedy hasn't already helped LSU make millions of dollars.

And LSU will continue to use him to recruit other kids that will make LSU millions of dollars.

I really don't think you should be calling anyone a dumbass after you demonstrate repeated inability to comprehend nuance.

quote:

So a national championship game is more important than his and his daughter's futures? Wrong. If the argument is that the Fiesta bowl is not as important as his "daughter's future," as was the suggestion I was responding too, then neither is the national championship game. And thus, any of you who appear to applaud his self-serving decision absent any other commitments and responsibilities should have no issue with him sitting out a national championship game as well. But obviously it sounds like you all would.

quote:

As I said, do you really think he would sit out a national championship game?

And as I pointed out repeatedly, irrelevant to the point. He actually SHOULD sit out the championship game going by the logic I was responding too. Again, work on your reading comprehension instead of making the exact same argument after I've told you multiple times you aren't properly understanding my contention.

Greedy could get that anywhere, but LSU can't find guys like Greedy nearly as easy l.
