He made a commitment to his family...to play football at LSU.

I'm not even sure what this means. He has played football for LSU.

Are you saying he needs to play all 4 years? Or that playing in the Fiesta Bowl is more of a commitment to his daughter than making millions of dollars to provide whatever he can for her?

Nah. I don't know the man personally, but he generally seems likable enough. Of course that has no bearing on whether i believe he can achieve a professional level of success that I believe LSU deserves.

When you grow up, you may find that you're able to distinguish between personal and professional points of view. Or, you may find that you're not able to do so, and you can bitch with your baws about how people like Greedy should not skip bowl games.

If anything keeps this game close it will be Steve Ensminger and his ancient, uncreative offense.

It certainly won't be a player at a position group at a university known for producing the best NFL talent at that position group and on the defensive side of the ball where this team has always been really strong and deep.

He went to school this year and was committed. Very simple concept.

You’re not addressing the problem. The problem is not Greedy but LSU needs to recruit on an elite level without down years like the top programs.

Yes he was. Now he's committed to doing what he can to ensure his little girl wants for nothing. Very simple concept.

His little girl wants a fater who does the right by people by doing what they are expected. Those that think money Is the holy grail to giving are very misguided.

Any body know the dollar amount LSU athletics is out for a "full ride" for football? I don't know and I would like to incorporate this number into my response to the "sitting out" situation. See where Will Grier is letting West Virginia down.

Dude,

We’re playing a who gives a shite bowl game against the University of Central Florida. What does Greedy have to gain financially by playing? Let it go-he’s not playing.

Thanks for the startling revelation. No one is going to agree on this issue.

You can go frick yourself with this "who gives a shite bowl" stuff.

If we don't win 10 games...there will plenty of bitching from the perma-nega dolts.

Kelvin Joseph is really letting down the program way more so than Greedy.

Agree. Greedy made a business decision and he has earned the right to do so. Joseph apparently made poor a poor and selfish decision. He made a mistake and will bounce back, but he is letting his team down, not Greedy.
