He very well could be the best ever to come out of NOLA and hopefully even LSU
quote:Look, Miley was a legend and left us too soon, but it will not take much at all for Deichman to pass Miley in terms of career
Will Clark, Mike Miley, Mel Ott......please child

With no debate, MIKE MILEY.

Deichmann too many holes in swing that major league pitching will exploit unless he takes to some better hitting instruction from the major league level. Not sure he really has a position.

No doubt Casey Cuntz. In fact, he is probably the greatest player from Jesuit of all time, not just New Orleans.
He was a beast.
He was a beast.

This is a cool website showing every MLB player from LA. I would have thought we would have had more big ones, I guess not.

So who is greatest player from New Orleans area ? Will Clarke at Jesuit lit it up. Miss State lit it up and MLB same thing. And yes I do know him so prejudice. Guy is total asshat but could swing the bat. Know him never r said "I liked him". One reason

I think having a special needs son has mellowed Will Clark in his later years.
I know he was cocky and everything, but it's funny to hear people talk as though he was the ONLY a-hole athlete to ever come from Jesuit. Thing about Clark though is he backed up the talk. IIRC the first pitch he ever saw in the majors was against Nolan Ryan and he promptly hit a bomb.

What you say is true. But Will needs years of being a good human to make up for years of being who he was off the field. Will was one of the cockiest self centered guys you will ever meet when at State. As far as hitting a baseball I really believe he was the closest thing to a natural I have seen in my years. Also he never used any performance enhancing drugs , which is hard to believe . All God given ability.
