I'm waiting to see an offensive player do it as the play clock expires instead of needing to call a timeout.

Joe's reaction is priceless. He was the embodiment of all of us watching going "Oh cmon, what is this, amateur hour?"

I saw that bullshite at the game and was pissed. That is fricking bush league.

They really should make this reviewable as it is getting out of hand. If a player flops like that and the preceding play gives no indication of an injury and/or the player made no attempt to head to the sideline for help, then flag them for unsportsmanlike conduct.

On the broadcast, on the replay from ground-level showing the flop, you can see an Aggie coach dressed in black, Craig?, waving his arms and pointing at the ground, then stopping once the flop was complete. Such an egregious coach–instructed exploitation of rules intended to protect player safety should be addressable.
