Crews is not God ina baseball uniform as much as some want him to be. He actually has a tendency to swing at some very shitty pitches. It is what it is. We suck.

The dude is a freshman hitting 350 with 12 jacks. If he continues to improve over the next two years, he’ll be a first round pick and a “god in a baseball uniform”.

Absolutely no way he told him to take on the 3-2 count. He may have told him to stay patient and not to chase, which is the absolute right thing to say when the ump bailed the pitcher out on 3-1. I just don't see any reason that you would need to tell the best player in the ballpark anything right there. Yelling it from the dugout would have sufficed.

He interrupted his at bat. For what? To inspire him? Pretty sure crews doesn’t need to be inspired in the bottom of the 9th game on the line, against a hated rival. Oh and needing to win out just to get into the tourney.

I never said he did. What I said was that he didn’t interrupt the at bat to tell him not to swing at any pitches like was said and implied by multiple posters.
