that is a good one. I bet it hurts your brain to be so smart at the young age of 11.

We should probably go with Evangels D coordinator instead.
They're firing on all cylinders this year.

Let's think about it. My other post might have been too hasty.

Maybe we should give coaches a week-by-week contract. No buy outs obviously. That sure as hell would keep them on their toes.

That's how it goes where evangelfan works. If he fricks up a big batch of chicken, he's out on the street. Keeps him awake in the fry area for sure.

Kind of ironic that we'll be playing against our next DC.

When you have teams like mizzu running up and down the field like no one is standing there, it’s apparent, this project will not “work itself out.”

Yes, we have a lot of new starters, but when you consider we have a much more skilled athlete at literally every position and they still run up and down the field, with no game plan improvement/adjustments, at all during the game. The writing is not that on the wall, it’s blindingly apparent.
I can always be a dreamer like some of the other “football geniuses” on here, and believe that maybe all of our players are just too slow to catch on to the brilliant and complex pelini system this quickly, and magically they’ll be playing championship level D in time! But schematically and fundamentally, I see zero evidence that these are sound defensive sets that are just not being executed properly yet. We have way too much talent (even considering the lack of reps), for that to be the case.
But we can always dream that’s not the case!
