ESPN Page 2 in honor of the 15 year anniversary of Warren Morris's walkoff homerun in the 1996 College World Series, revisits the players and coaches who were involved. Fantastic Read!

Did anyone else call his homerun? Watching the game, I told my dad that he was going to hit it out... the rest is history.

I was at a friends apartment at sharlo. Everybody ran out of all the apartments and were just celebrating in the parking lot.

Was watching that game in a bar. Friend says we need a home run here. I told him it was too windy and only way we'd get home run is down right side. Seconds later... BAM!

I was sitting in the living room in front of my dad's old console tv eating burger king chicken strips. I called it (but I probably called a HR for every ab that game.) Probably my favorite LSU baseball moment.

I was living in CT as a high school senior and went to work so I could have extra money to go to the beach. I was keeping up with the game in pieces on the tv in the bar of the restaurant I was working at. Went to refill a water and came back just as Morris was rounding the bases. Going to work that day, and missing that moment live, is one of the great regrets I have.

I saw that link yesterday and went back and watched the last three innings last night. That game took us from pretty solid baseball program to the elites of the sport.

I was watching the game with my sister-in-law at their place in Baton Rouge. As soon as he hit the ball we were all jumping up and down. We knew it was out the instant it left the bat.

I was coaching little league baseball and got home just in time to see the last 3 innings. Needless to say I was very disappointed at the time because I believe we were down 7-3. What a great final 3 innings and fantastic finish.

It's one of my first memories of Tiger baseball.

I believe I was 7 years old at the time. Sitting on the floor in my parents house watching it on TV. I still remember the Miami players all laying on the ground as he rounded the bases.

Love it..... I was there sitting right on top of the Miami dugout. I felt bad for them as most of them wept uncontrollably but it did not stop me from losing my mind. That was, by far, the best sporting event that I have ever had the pleasure of attending.

Geaux Morris !!!!

Didn't see the HR coming, but the SW I was practice swinging in my office while watching was broken in three pieces and I didn't remember doing it at all.
