Here's another way to help Great Cats of Indiana. Go to iGive.com LINK and download their search engine. As a search engine, it sucks, but for every search they giv .01 to Great Cats. And if you shop online through iGive, a portion of each purchase (%depends on merchant) to the charity of your choice, ie, Great Cats. It's how I support them.

I would assume athletic dept... perhaps just shoot them an e-mail to see if it is feasible.

What is the reason LSU is unable to have a fundraiser once a year before the home opener? Put some barrels outside the stadium gates or inside near the entrance or concessions and let us drop some $ in?

Excellent idea.

Probably an NCAA or state law against it?

Wow, looks like their first trip to Baton Rouge was for the 07 Florida game. Hell of a game to visit.

Despite the longer days, there is still nothing like working around big cats all day, and I still can’t see myself doing anything else. Having a group of such beautiful animals consider you their friend is a feeling that is really hard to explain, but it makes all the stress and frustration at times worth it.

No, at times they may consider you their lunch. "Befriending" a big cat, I would think, would be like befriending that big, cuddly murderer on Angola's death row. One wrong move and they'll take off an arm, open up a carotid artery...

You can really feel how much they love what they do. Loved the whole page they have on Roscoe/Mike with all the pics.

I sent them a little bit :)
