Seems like the good type of conflict of interest

Would love some new blood in the compliance department but the optics are not good. With that being said she sounds like a homerun to rebuild the LSU image.

I read somewhere where Bahnsen is “retiring.” I wouldn’t be surprised if Scott gave him an encouraging nudge out the door.
But with the timing of this—and no doubt optics are important—I didn’t think it totally out of the question that she’d fit in somewhere in LSU athletic administration.

If everything was relatively quiet on the compliance front, I’d say go for it. But considering we have the NCAA on our arse, I would not say that’s a good idea.

I mean, the current president* of the United States and his entire family is a walking, talking, conflict of interest. Our entire government at every level and every state and federal agency is chock-full of conflicts of interest.
Well, yeah. But the faux government doesn't have anyone above them to check them, since the supreme court turned out to be mostly a bunch of cowards, themselves. But LSU seems to be a frequent target lately, and the NCAA is a modern day gestapo. Having a conflict of interest is never a good thing, no matter who gets away with it. But LSU would not get away with it, from the NCAA.

Ummm… maybe “conflict of interest” is the reason why she was still at Nevada while JJ was at Arizona. Just saying.
