His only success has been in interim positions. Quite literally the exact opposite of rebuilding, or building at all, a program.

There is nothing on his resume' to suggest he is capable of this.

I do too, I guess. Since that's been his role for most of his coaching career.

The 2011 team LSU had 10 starters who were either Freshman or Sophmores, It's weird in the past 17 years I haven't heard anyone blaming the lack of depth as a reason for losing and now it is a major issue even thought our starting Oline and Dline is mostly Seniors and Juniors. Why didn't we hear of depth issues before the Miss St game?

The last several he has gone downhill in trenches and settling on high-risk character guys. It caught up.
They mostly seemed to be under control prior to the regime change.
I sense deflection in your posts.

Deflection? They didn't even sign guys in the trenches a few years ago. Some of the talented ones they have been getting are bad apples. I know you love miles. I thought he was great for Lsu for many years. It is obvious that recruiting has suffered in the trenches, but it is turning back around at least on the dline. Shelvin and the transfer from tt will help out greatly next year on the DL...and also the TT transfer at wr....maybe deculous (spelling) will pan out at tackle.

Look...you have an agenda. I'm not an O pumper, but to act like Lsu is not severely limited in the trenches right now is just flat out lying in order to pump your own agenda.

Yeah... You kind of are. 99% of your posts are lashing out at people with legitimate gripes re: Orgeron. You can say you aren't a supporter all you want but your posts tell a different story.

Yet there is one example a decade ago where he failed at a bottom feeder...and that's all that matters to you. When you get out there and get a real job, I hope you never have things go against you and you get fired. If you do, maybe you learn from it and improve.

I'm not. I think it is ridiculous though that many of you are allowed to bash O relentlessly..it isn't good for the program, the players, or the coaches. Constructive criticism is absolutely warranted. Excessive personal bashing isn't. I suspect that some of that is changing on here though. We get it, he failed at ole miss. I'm not thrilled at all with the hire, but I'll give the guy his chance THIS YEAR and try and remain objective in the process.

Constructive criticism:
- His only stint as a permanent coach was a massive failure
- No other team showed any interest in him as a permanent head coach
- We've had over 30 penalties in his first 3 games in his first year.
- We just had a historically bad loss to State in his first SEC game

I'd love for you to link 1 solitary post of my "personal bashing" of O.

Also, you know what's REALLY bad for the program? Getting the doors blown off by State on national TV in the first SEC game for a new coach.

Are you encouraged by what you've seen so far?

And you don't?

I have an agenda. It's to call anyone who was bashing Les in the head continually as late as September, 2016 for not meeting expectations with the talent we had and now turns around to attempt to excuse O and the LSU performance WE all saw against Mississippi State because we are, within a year, so talentless that a fricking State can been over us over on the football field a fricking clueless clown.

You want constructive criticism?

I am concerned on the hire at OC. I'm not going to bash Canada and will give him a chance this year, but that may have been a questionable hire. Time will tell.

As for D...I am not sure why we didn't go after juco. I am not sure when knew of herron suspension....the multiple injuries, suspensions. You can bet he wasn't expecting the dl we had at state most of that game. Maybe expecting shelvin...

Exactly.

People obviously chose to not watch the first two games.

LSU had waaayyyy more horespower than BYU and Chattanooga yet looked pretty bad, getting outplayed in the trenches.

When facing equal or similar talent we are in a bind, and that is all on the shoulders of LSU coaches and players.

Orgeron was responsible for recruiting prior to being named HC.

He sold himself as the continuity coach. He would fix the offense and all would be good.

He didn't sell himself as this is a rebuild job.

Total BS.
