Hate to say it, but if we lost to WV, most are going to want JJ to play...

Probably, until he screws up and people will want Mettenberger.

I also think it is telling that the DA leaked the information about the DNA being inconclusive. This is to set the stage for a dismisal or no true bill.

the others players want him back because for one thing they know jj wasn't the only player kicking and punching.

Wait, wait, wait.... According to JJ's lawyer he was completely uninvolved and only tried to calm things down. So which is it? The other players know he wasn't the only player kicking and punching or he is totally innocent? You can't have it both ways.

Ok he has managed a game that's great but we will run into somebody that will actually force us to throw the ball and then u will see how far he has really come, ok pumpkin?

Did you actually watch any games this season or just the 5 min clip of JJ career highlights over and over? So when when we are "forced" to throw... you think JJ will save us?

overall this team is much better then last year imo. Better defense, better oline, better O coaching etc. Who is to say that JJ can't do better?

I like them both and am starting to warm up to JJ having some spots. A running qb is a huge advantage in college, almost like having an extra man. I think we could win with both.

I think he should play similiar to RP in '07. I think he brings a dimension on offensive that we are currently lacking. I think he would be most effective around the goal line and in short yardage.

And some people still want JJ to start no matter what. There are player fans and player haters.

Honestly, I am ready for the next "era" of QB's so this shite will go away. But as sure as shite, next year we will have a Randall vs Mett fan war.

divide the whole fan base. I am so sick of this shite.

Why? Is half the LSU fanbase cheering for another team? Why would a player being cleared of wrong-doing and reinstated to the team divide a fanbase that is cheering for the team..unless of course the fanbase is cheering for one player over another. A fanbase cheering for a player instead of cheering for the team is a shitty fanbase.

I hope JJ doesn't see the field again. It has been actually enjoyable to watch the offense again.

Larry, ever heard the old saying about opening your mouth and removing all doubt? Goes for the written word too.

We have a team that could easily be the best in the country this year and some want to muck it up by bringing back possibly the worst starting QB in the entire NCAA last year? Oh yeah, gimme some of that! I didn't really want to spend all that money on BCS tickets anyway.
