I do not think Mett has an effect on JL because he knows he beat out Mett fair and square.

Hmm not according to the rant. Some believe he starts cus he is a 5th year sr. Not because of his ability.

JJ also hasnt practiced, Lee or anyone would be an idiot to think JJ would start anytime soon. Even if lee got hurt in practice tomorrow, Mett would prob start for kentucky.

So some of our best players rocking #9 on their arms wouldnt be a distraction? Yet weve won every game a player has done that. It would be very stupid to think JJ hasnt had any contact with any of his teammates through all this.

Of course they have been in contact with JJ. Of course they are friends. I never said otherwise. I am not saying JJ would be bad for the team. All I am saying is that Miles needs to handle the situation very carefully. If you think reinstating JJ and calling for an open QB competition for next week is a good idea, well then you're nuts!

mett was kicked off his team for his misdemeanor

He also had multiple alcohol related charges stemming from this event and events following. Mett wasnt just a one and done. And from the stories you hear the girls father was high up in the uga chain.

So, all the Grand Jury said was there was enough information for Jordan Jefferson's case to proceed to a jury trial. That's all the indictment means.

Since it is a misdemeanor, a plea bargain deal from the DA would not be an unusual next step.

1. If you are JJ, and the misdemeanor deal is no fine, probation, and community service, do you take the deal?

2. Or do you go to trial?

It is also not up to you or me to decide. From ur comments in this thread it seems like you do not like JJ, even though you tried to say you supported JJ, but i hardly believe that.

They said simple battery is 6 mos and like 1000 fine. So even if it's a few months that's too little too late IMO

the ignorance of the law on this board is astonishing.

Take the deal, take a redshirt, transfer to a FCS school and play his final year there. He's done here. JL will take the team from here, and Mett is the team's future.

Are you saying because some people are racist if they don't think JJ should be allowed to return?

Yes they vary well may be. Mett has more charges against him. Tbob has a dwi, which to anyone who has been affected by a drunk driver it is a huge deal. Yet no one wants JJ to return cus he may or may not have kicked someone? You are naive to think racism doesnt exist. Even amongst our fans.

#1 for sure. I'm glad he didn't get in serious shite for a fricking nightly occurrence in Tigerland, but I do NOT want him in the mix with the games.

Put him on the team, and try to help him for the draft next year, but this is Lee's team now.

IMO

Miles has already said he is back on the team. I don't know how he will handle this. Lee Should start he's proven it!

My gut says he's taking the fall for some other people on the team who were also involved. Unglesby hinted as much in the radio interview where he said this all about getting Jordan to cough up the name(s) of the other players involved in the fight.

My biggest fear

I don't want this to happen. I want JJ reinstated and doing nothing more than holding a clipboard unless absolutely without a doubt necessary to play him...and I want him and his family to keep their mouths shut about his role on the team.

That said, if JJ rolled over on teammates (and I doubt he would), I'm not gonna get any sleep for days watching the avalanche of hypocrisy as the "mothereffing thug needs to be off the team" crowd tries to rationalize how a more talented player isn't a thug for 'kicking someone in the head while they're down'.

Dgn Mett was kicked off the team in GA
For a misdemeanor . But I don't think jj should be kicked off the team. This is very minor it's not domestic violence so there will be no probation $150.00 fine plus court cost. Done

I dont think one person in this thread has said other wise. Why these JJ haters are trying to stir shite up is beyond me.

And yes Les Miles knows whats best for the team.
