Do you think JL's confidence will be affected by this?
Yes, JL will be looking over his shoulder if he makes a mistake, he knows he will be replaced.

He should come back onto the team to compete for the backup spot, but not automatically given the spot. Him and Mett should both get opportunities in trash time if they can. I'd prefer Mett to get more though considering he's got more than just this season.

a "trial" on this would literally take zero time at all. He'd be done before lunch. Or JJ could tell Unglesby he just wants to plead guilty and put it in the past...

All any of us agree on is that bringing JJ back on the team will definitely have an impact. As to whether that impact will be good or bad, that is pure speculation.

IMO, JL probably has quite a bit of confidence at the moment because he knows he is the guy at the QB position. JJ sitting on the bench waiting to play may have a negative effect on JL. It is hard to get in a rhythm when they are being switched like they were last year.

I think JJ deserves to be on the team, but does the team deserves to deal with the consequences is another story all together.

Like weve seen from every qb under crowton?

Im lad ur not a head coach. There a bunch of coaches out there that would take 28 wins between two qbs, including les miles.

Right, so people aren't going to go the Florida game if Miles announces the JJ will play at some point in the game?

if les miles gives JJ significant snaps over lee's, yes.

Unglesby just said on news "sometime next year we'll have this trial on the misdemeanor". That's for those who said this isn't going to trial. Apparently it is.

don't kid yourself, this is a delicate situation. If he takes the 'JJ was the starter and should resume that role when he's ready' stance, and we go out and stink it up against Florida, even the positigers will be fricking pissed.
the chances of this happening is pretty much zero. I do not think he will start. I think he will get a shot in a game that is not on the line,t or in situations. JJ means a lot to the team and that matters. I know miles can handle It. But to say he shouldn't get a shot after all they have invested in him is ridiculous.

He was indicted. That means there will be a trial

BINGO.

I find it hard to believe that JJ is going to be the only one charged in this whole mess.

I wasn't there. I didn't see what happened. But I find it hard to believe that 4 people went to the hospital and JJ is the only one who is going to face trial.

My gut says he's taking the fall for some other people on the team who were also involved. Unglesby hinted as much in the radio interview where he said this all about getting Jordan to cough up the name(s) of the other players involved in the fight.

Who fricking knows any more?

I know a lot of you don't give a shite so long as Lee remains the QB.

I am truly happy for both players. The whole ordeal sucked. I have no problem with his reinstatement. However, we have a starting QB who is producing and should remain the QB until he stops producing, IMO.
Can JJ still face civil charges? What is the chance it could go a civil trial in the opinion of the lawyers here?

Maybe now we can have Honey Badger and JJ mean mug the camera together. Having JJ on the team again brings some " We will stomp your arse even harder NOW" to the team.

Everyone can hate all they want JJ also earned his spot, I do not want to see JLee taken out because I think he is playing smart football right now. Against better SEC defenses such as AL, FL ect. Having a running QB will help. I really hope this doesn't turn into a two QB system again. I HATE that!
