Governor Landry does not need apologies.

I don’t think he is a needy person. He may deserve them, but he really doesn’t want them or need the apologies.
I invite all the downvotes and commentary back.
But there are PLENTY posters, pundits and talk show hosts that let their politics tell all of you that he had no business getting into the financials of the athletic program.
But Woodward might still be here if Landry didn’t get involved.
Frank Wilson might be the coach.
Saturday night doesn’t happen the way it did, if Landry didn’t “Step in it” or “open his damn mouth”.

Agree.
I’m not the biggest Landry fan, but happy to see that hes a showcase for Louisiana men who aren’t afraid to ruffle some feathers and get shite done.

He had a vision, he sacked up and went after it.
People want status quo and are scared of failing.

I personally don’t understand the hate he gets. He definitely toots his own horn, but what politician doesn’t. He’s had a few missteps and odd decisions. I even get what he was trying to do bringing in Omar the tiger, but I understand those days are over. He forced out Tate who was hurting the university. Tate was smart enough to show up and embrace any sports successes, but behind the scenes he was watering down the university. Woodard needed to go as well, from the obnoxious contracts to the constant meddling in the athletic programs. Past LSU we are possibly in our greatest period for economic growth ever including the late 70’s.

Landry no doubt had a huge part in getting shite Scott out. BK set us back several years amd you can see how both him and his staff literally didn't work.

Remember, some here were ready to recall the governor because Kim Mulkey was crying at the podium.
