Lets see. I can do one of two things:

1. Be cynical and wait for true change about 170 days from now; or

2. I can be a proud Tiger fan and say

Life is short, I go with 2.

So you don't want to be a miserable bastard all the time? What a loser

Crowton came to Lsu with a good offensive resume

Oregon fans were more excited to see him go than we were Trent Johnson.

It is truly sad what happened to him and his family (he and his wife both). We will never know what might have been if he had been calling our games during the 2011 run.

I've never understood Les Miles's penchant for keeping things slow.

Time of Possession, keep the defense off the field.

3 and out running the ball, taking the play clock all the way down, takes a lot more time off the clock than 3 and out hurry up - especially with 3 incompletions. It can give the other team more possessions

That's my concern with speeding up the offense, having the defense gassed in the 4th quarter.

Rush also said that Crowton's offense & terminology were extremely complicated, but that when Crowton left, LSU retained his terminology for the most part. It consisted of a lot of numbers, letters, combo of both, whereas Cam's offense is just one letter or two at most. This also gets the QB up to the line of scrimmage faster & makes audibles faster as well.

I'm very pleased with what I'm seeing from practice. This is the offensive change that literally everyone knew we needed. Even though we won't be as talented as the last two seasons, the team should be much funner to watch when they have the ball and provide some excitement to the fans. I don't see the offense being the bane to our season next year. I also liked how I I saw Miles supervise while Stud did his true job on the o-line and Cam on the offense in the practice videos.

Hopefully they didn't call 2 timeouts to run a jump pass play.

I've bitten on this bait every Spring for the last 5 years, only to see an extremely conservative offense that refuses to air it out in the Fall.
Thanks for sharing... but I'll believe it when I see it.

For every moron posting this, I'd love to see where you "all heard this before".

I have too, I fall for it every year, but why not? Do you ever buy lottery tickets? You know you're not going to win, but the hope that you might is a pleasant experience.

But the most important thing is . . . does he have a hidden playbook?

the people that say they have bitten the bait every year know they are lying. What is the number one consensus on the rant after the spring game? "Oh my God we are gonna suck again on offense".These are the same people constantly down playing everything that goes on in the offseason bringing down anyone else who doesn't feel the same.

No one should be surprised. Defense sucked. Miles realized it. Enter Chief. Cam Cameron is the second verse to a song we've heard before.....

remember when Jordan Jefferson was the best looking QB at the Manning PA?

FWIW, he was the only MPA attendee to play in the national championship game. . . However bad it might have been.

Spring practice reports are like a Rorschach test for our fan base. Everyone sees into it what they want to see.
