Linky Thing
I think we will be alright with Lee. And I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell that he throws less touchdowns than he does picks this year. I am not a JJ hater. In fact, I have enjoyed his time at LSU, especially that 83 yarder against UT. I just feel more comfortable with a pure passer at QB with the way LSU's talent stacks up.
And although Lee has made his fair share of rough decisions at QB (mostly during his RS Freshman year), here is another Linky Thing showing the hellaciously strong arm and capability of Jarrett to make the clutch throws and tight throws we will no doubt need this year.
Should be a great season... One week left, Ladies and Gentlemen!
to you all, and as always,

That video was awesome! It really shows how good of a passer he is. He does have that gunslinger mentality, but if he can keep the mistakes to a medium we could have a really special season amidst all of this turmoil

He has the ability to get the ball to his playmakers and let them make plays. Randle will have more yards this year than his first 2 years combined. As a receiver, you have to be excited. Also, watching that I expect a HUGE year from Peterson.

I was one of the fans calling for lee to replace JJ last year, but on that note whenever JJ was in the game i pulled for him because he was my tigers QB.
I wanted Lee to start this year, but i didn't want it to happen this way. that said here is your chance LEE go out there and kick soms arse so if JJ does get to come back sometime this year there will be no question on who should be starting.
LEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!get you some.

Thank you - he reminds me so much of Matt Flynn - I wish him the best.
If he steps up in this first game, I predict nothing but greatness the rest of the year.

Yeah, I am starting to get a comfortable feeling and peace of mind with Lee. I have been told that he is the most accurate of the QB's we had this Spring anyways. With our receiving corp, old and young, he will have tons of options and he is not a statue like most would have you believe. The last few times we had an average, smart, white guys under center with the MNC in NO we didn't fare to badly, DUCK SEASON IS OPEN!

In fact, when the Tigers needed somebody to throw the ball last season, they usually called on Jarrett Lee.
Lee threw the game-winning touchdown pass at Florida. He led the game-winning drive against Tennessee, completing a pair of key third-down passes, not to mention converting a fourth-and-14 play to keep the drive alive.
And remember that 47-yard strike to Rueben Randle on third-and-13 from LSU’s 20 to seal the win over Alabama? That was Lee pulling the trigger.

Easy on the whole white QB thing... Haha. Race has nothing to do with it, but I do get your point.
I am surprised that this has received no negative flak from all the down-trodden posters that have ravaged this board this last week or two.
