Any Houston Tigers have any ideas for a nice hotel near the stadium? Thanks!

There is nothing really nice near the stadium. I would stay by the Galleria or downtown.

This. I'm not crazy about downtown, but tourists might not mind it... and light rail access to Reliant is better than driving/parking.

ETA: Hilton Americas is great... but a pretty good trek to the light rail.

Stay at Hyatt Downtown... Take the Rail to the Stadium... Or if they allow tailgate, you can easily get to stadium and you'll be coming from north where the least amount of traffic will be coming from... because they'll be on the rail !! But walk from Rail Drop Off near Stadium to the stadium is like parking by the levee at Tiger Stadium and walking from there.

ZaZa in the museum district. Right on the light rail line to the stadium. 5 minute cab ride to midtown (It's also on the rail to downtown).

Reliant is so close to downtown that you may prefer to stay there. Also, you wont have to drive from downtown to Reliant because of the metro rail that was built for the Superbowl years ago. Staying downtown and not having to drive is a big deal and that should be a huge factor. Stay somewhere around Main Street as that is the street where the rail runs down. There are hundreds of nice hotels in that surrounding area. Good luck! Hope this helps!

ZAZA will be very pricy! Hyatt good option! So many to choose, but go downtown over Galleria. Trust me! You want to take the rail to the game! ZAZA is not on the rail anyway!

We tried Hotel ZaZa but they didn't have anything available for 8/29-8/31, so we booked a room at the Marriott Courtyard Downtown. It's right down the street from the Main Street Metro rail station. Prices were pretty reasonable too.

Hotel Icon is in a great spot downtown on rail line and tons of new bars and restaurants in that spot. Best hotel downtown. Stay anywhere around the market square area downtown. I'm Baton Rouge born living in H-town and know my ish.
