Look, I’ve been a died hard Tiger fan since 1968. Missed like 2 or 3 games either on radio, tv or in person since then. This is the most enjoyable, exciting season in my life. Better than 2003 or 2007. Or any other. We may never have another Joe Burrow. He’s the greatest LSU quarterback ever!

We are probably going to miss Burrow for the rest of our lives.

This is an all time great season for any college QB on any team.

Enjoy it now. This is likely the best LSU QB season ever. I think Brennan will do great especially with Marshall and Chase still here. And we shouldn’t lose a ton of the o-line.

He’s literally been the best quarterback in LSU’s history so yeah that’s a given.

Enjoy the now.

But if you must look ahead, remember that Brennan already has a year of learning under his belt in the Ensminger/Brady school. I don't see how anyone could compare to JB9, but Brennan will still be far greater than what we've gotten used to having the last 10 years.

I think you should say how you really feel. I think you're holding something back. Let you're feelings come out man. Don't hold that inside yourself.

I mean, an LSU QB has complete and total control of the Heisman trophy race and completely out of nowhere... this is starting to feel a bit like 2003 & could play out even better.

Joe has got talent, knowledge, and all the intangibles. He’ll play on Sundays. If cards fall the right way you may be looking at a Shaq/Bregman type of ambassador for the university’s athletics when he is done here...

On the bright side, they’re gonna win the west & there is a CFP now — so we got a chance here to potentially watch him play three post-season games in P&G.

In this day and age, it’s rare that you get more than two years starting out of a kid that good even if he’s a HS recruit. Enjoy the ride my friend!

Brennan is right there with the Joe's, not just lurking. He will slide in fine.

Hopefully we can now start having quarterbacks like him that are not transfers and we can get them for three-four years instead of two like we did with Zach Mettenberger and Joe Burrow.

I seem to remember that last year that most of your fan base said that he was average and were complaining that he couldn't win a starting job at Ohio State. Now you guys are calling him the best LSU QB ever. Guess you guys changed your tune quick on the kid!

Brennan might have all of the athletic skills that Joe has. Hell, he might have a quicker release, run faster, jump higher, etc. The differences between a great QB and a guy like Joe are the intangibles. The swagger; the confidence; the football IQ; the 'knock me down and I'm gonna keep coming' attitude; and the leadership - that special something that makes those other guys want to run through walls for you - these are the kinds of things that separate the generational from the great. Hopefully Brennan will have these things. And if not, he can still be great and we will still win. But those are the qualities Joe brings to the table that are hard to replace.
