My neighbor is a huge 'Bama fan (and is actually a nice guy, believe it or not), and he invites me over to watch the Tide play. It's more fun watching his antics when things aren't going 'Bama's way.

One day, when you have a wife and kids, you will look back on this and wonder why you ever questioned the greatness of watching an LSU football game alone. That's what many of us dream of.

61" Sony HD + no Tigah fans in my neighborhood = lots of game watching alone.

Dude stop being a pussy! I would love to watch a game alone that way nobody tries talking during the most important parts of the game.

This! Having played the sport years ago, I am looking at some of the more intricate issues within the development of the plays. The last thing I want is some idiot who don't know shite about the game sqwaking and commenting during the game. Those type bitch about the QB and have no clue that there are also other elements on the field that can make a play go or fail. They can enjoy the game in their own home.

___________
*Which I understood during the JJ regime - although it wasn't totally his fault that he was not a good QB - although his less than admirable behavior was his fault.

Season opener last year: I was in Galveston in a condo, my only company was a bottle of Tito's vodka. all the kids, their friends, the wife and her friend were out and didn't come back 'til the game was over. It was fricking glorious!

Its OK to watch it alone. I usually watch 2-3 games alone and the others we have house parties overseas. When I am in Louisiana, then I watch them either in Tiger Stadi (Sign) or I go to the away game. I live 8,500 miles away, therefore I will go to all games when I am visiting home

There are a few places to watch the game in the Dallas area. sherlocks off 75 and park lane( not a good place if you want to watch another game) Fox and Hound off midway. Or Dodies in Frisco which has a big LSU turnout every saturday and they always have other games going on other tvs. Its really convenient if you want to watch other games besides the LSU game. And its an all LSU bar

This. Normally its just me in the living room, while the wife and the cats take cover in the bedroom.

I'm planning on doing this for most games (or making the gf drive me) but since I will be working until right up to kickoff it will be a lot of hassle to get back, get a cab, get to the bar, all in time for kickoff. It's all good I'll just get drunk alone and watch us kick that arse

watching a game alone is sort of a bummer. Remember, joy is only real if it is shared.
