Kevin Sumlin @ TAMU would be all the proof I need of this. I’ll add more though. LSU went undefeated in September & October to face plant in November. The next 4 games will tell us everything we need to know. I’m happy for the players that they are able to enjoy the wins. Let’s pump the brakes on this asinine playoff talk and beating Georgia/the gumps ranting.

It means you haven’t lost yet

Which is important

Can’t be undefeated in In January if you arent undefeated in september

We also didn’t have a cream puff schedule.

Yep. However, if you do not go undefeated in September you cannot be undefeated over all. And we are not rated on reputation like ND, Bama Ohio,StAte, Clemson Oklahoma. We have to win on the field.

And no, by the way. This is retarded.

Not only do we have the nation's best Resume, we have defied expectations.

Post less.

5-0 is a better start than 0-5. Prove me wrong.

If losing in September means something then going undefeated in September means something.

You're not a coach trying to keep your players level minded. You're just a fan, so be a fan and enjoy the victories.

I’ll agree with that. I haven’t seen anything or anyone to suggest the opposite. Of course you can’t be undefeated with a loss, but it’s how you finish that matters. Great 1/3 of the season.

It means a lot more then nothing.

Everyone had us losing to Auburn and Miami, and some people may of even had us losing to Ole Miss. We are getting better with every game and proving the doubters wrong is step 1.

Fair 1st part. The 2nd part isn’t as much on pure reputation as much as it is for what they prove. They’re not limited teams. They can beat you in a lot of ways. That matters.

Have you not enjoyed the 5-0 start?

It means I've had a very enjoyable month.

Yeesh. You may as well just ignore the season and simply look at the record at the end of the year and decide if you are happy or not.

kinda weird.

Nobody likes to poke Aggies about September national championships than me but in 6 seasons, Sumlin only beat ONE top 10 team in September and that team (#9 South Carolina) was clearly overrated and finished 7-6. LSU has beaten 2 Top 10 teams, on the road in the same month that may both finish with 10+ wins.

I’m guessing you’re talking about the media having LSU losing to both teams. That’s not true, but it’s true for the majority of them, so I’ll still give that to you.

I don’t know how anyone could say realistically they would have picked Ole Miss over LSU. Now they had a puncher’s chance, but it would have been a huge failure to drop that game.

I’m extremely curious to see how LSU plays this weekend against the gayturds.

So the totality of the season doesn’t count, just September? Trying to figure out what you meant by the last part.

Of course it’s better to be undefeated when the calendar turns to October, but it’s much more fun when it’s November & that is the case.
