This is what the other poster meant when he said Woodward was “killing time”
The long wait may be because Corbin is interested it also could be that we want to interview the Arizona coach and the Virginia coach and the Tennessee coach, all three of those guys may have a voice in addition to a Corbin with sincere interest.
If I were a vandy fan, an Arizona, Tennessee or Virginia fan I’d damn sure feel better if LSU would go ahead and announce

Source? There have been multiple people on here that have said he could be in play and Woodward wants him. And you think you know more about his situation why? If you have info that rules Corbin out I’m sure everyone would like to hear it

At no point in my post did I state that I had a source or any inside information. And the part where I said "that dude is probably least likely to leave" would usually suggest to anyone of average intelligence that what I said was my opinion.
You really think anyone on here has legitimate inside information and is sharing it? I stated my opinion just like everyone else on here has been doing for weeks.
Corbin is at Vandy.. a one trick pony where baseball is king. You'll never know how much he makes, and Vandy could match whatever LSU offers. If he wins the CWS year, he'll already have half as many titles as LSU does total.. on his own. Why would he leave Nashville to come to LSU if he's on the verge of building Vandy into what LSU used to be?
LSU is a top 2-3 job and MOST coaches would die to come here.. I just happen to think that Corbin is not one of them. That's my OPINION, and it's just as worthless as all the other opinions on this site.
