he hasnt had a shot

he has more hits in 4 ABs in CWS than Helenihi has in about 19 ABS

Why cant you see that Helenihi's lack of offensive production has not been a factor in the CW

it certainly didnt help tonight

why would u take the chance to put hanover in when derek has been error free

Because as it was stated in the original post: Helenihi is almost an automatic out. I hate to bag on LSU players, but sometimes I almost have to when some of these retarded arguments come up. Seriously, what part of "a .068 batting average in the CWS" don't you understand?

shoving somethign to pm in bp and/or practices?

Like what? That he can hit a pitching machine?

quote:

so leave coaching to him

This is the best argument that is always brought up when someone questions a coaching move. Like PM doesn't make mistakes.

My question to you is this: What's the harm in putting Hanover in? Are there all of a sudden going to be 100 ground balls hit to 3B tomorrow night and Hanover is going to miss over 10% of them? What's going to happen?

why should he get a shot? He was having alot of bad ABs and he was missing a bunch of signs...that's not gonna get you alot of playing time. And to add to that..his defense lately has been horrific...

i doesnt take 100 ground balls haha it takes one ...one crucial mistake wether it be missing a sign or an error can cause a loss in a crutial situation in a game...like people say if we arent losing..dont change it

you've got to give Helenihi time to work out of this slump. I'm sure given another week or two he'll come out of it...oh wait.

Now we're on to something. I did notice that he seems to have missed two signals in the SEC tourny and Regionals vs. Baylor. I won't disagree with you there.

meaningful abs with runners in scoring position? How many of those has he had? How many of those has Dean or Gibbs come thru on?
well gibbs went 1 for 4. got a hit .250 dean went 1 for 5 and was left on base 3 times. both better than 0 for 4 with 2 strike outs.

Yep..that's it..he was benched for missing one sign...

...not for struggling at the plate and playing pretty poor defense...

PM is just a spiteful SOB who holds grudges against freshman who miss a sign or two...

I hate that bastard...

So how many runs did they drive in with those 2 hits? And I didnt realize someone was in scoring position for all of DH's abs? I missed that also.
