Dont worry...Maximus = not very bright + very small penis.

We should just feel sorry for him...I know I do. Maybe there is a charity or something we can donate to...

This was a coaching mistake too. He should have been given the take sign until the pitcher threw a strike.

I think some things should be automatic for a player. Like taking until the guy decides he is going to pitch a strike. Especially when I can't buy a hit.

derek should still start..no questions asked...

what are the reasons why?

because he is a "defensive whiz"?
seriously, no one is trying to put him down, but when people keep

arguing that he is indeed the answer at 3rd, it becomes hard not to.

I dont see what is so hard about giving Hanover the start, see how things goes. If he make an error, pull him. Fine. If the game is close late in the game, pull him, fine. Just give him another shot and see how it goes.

Helenihi = 16 bad at bats

Hanover = 2 bad at bats

All you guys saying Hanover is better than Helinihi are terrible LSU fans fwiw.

Tyler Hanover .321 65-53 209 40 67 9 2 5 47 95 .455 12 2 33 4 .357 4 5 6-9 24 97 14 .896

Derek Helenihi .273 43-25 99 20 27 2 1 4 22 43 .434 11 0 22 3 .342 1 1 3-4 22 29 3 .944

Before you look at 14 errors to 3, notice that Helenihi has only 29 assist. That's not a whole lot of ground balls fielded.

Hanover was the starter for 2/3 of the year. Helenihi gave LSU a spark for one weekend, but now he is 1 for 15 in Omaha. His spot in the lineup will come up at least 4 maybe 5 times. How many ground balls will be hit to 3B tomorrow?

why would u take the chance to put hanover in when derek has been error free..ok hes struggled but hes proved obviously he can hit and is shoving somethign to pm in bp and/or practices? so leave coaching to him

He's done absolutely nothing recently other than hit a meaningless hanging breaking ball from Cox against Arky. Oh..my bad...his defense has sucked...I forgot that tidbit...

Why cant you see that Helenihi's lack of offensive production has not been a factor in the CWS...even if we lost today, It wouldnt have been because of Helenihi. What did the middle of the lineup do today? Nothing.

Maybe it should be...but it's the coaches job to make sure he's taking in that situation. Never trust a batter to not swing, especially aggressive hitters like ours.

when he has been at bat with runners in scoring position and we are down. you mean those at bats?

He's got more hits in 4 at bats in Omaha than Helenihi has in 16 at bats. Oh yeah, he doubled in other runs vs. Arky.

And if LSU would have lost tonight, it would have been everyone's fault who didn't do more to win, not just 3-4-5. When the 8 hole is 0 for the night that contributes to a loss also.

meaningful abs with runners in scoring position? How many of those has he had? How many of those has Dean or Gibbs come thru on?
