I didn't vote because I knew which teams were OK St and Alabama. (I already knew records vs top 20 and top 40.)
The poll doesn't take into account the losses. A loss vs an unranked team is far far worse than a loss against the #1 ranked team.
OK State doesn't play defense. It'd be a slaughter. It'd be fun though.
I'd rather play Alabama and smack the crap outta them the 2nd time around. Wouldn't it be great to throw that into the gumps' faces all the way up until kickoff in September 2012?

And beating 6 top 30 teams is far far better than beating 3 top 30 teams.
I remember having this same discussion with USC fans in 2003, they were completely focussed on who LSU lost to and not the fact that LSU had beaten more and better teams than USC.
It happened again in 2007, everyone wanted to bitch and moan about who LSU lost to but no one (outside of Tiger fans) wanted to talk about who LSU beat.

Ok State. And I did not try to figure out who it was prior to picking. If they win on Saturday this thing will get interesting. We better win first!

So twice the BCS was in this position and picked the team with the better overall resume instead of who had the prettiest loss. And now it's all about loss. Hmm...wonder why...A poLlster hAs to Be Awfully confused on what Merit to pAy attention to.
And I ignored the poll the moment I read that it was based on Sagarin, the "I love USC" poll from years ago which is this year the "I love the Big 12" computer poll. Use overall BCS rankings instead, or, do one for each computer poll instead of just Sagarin.
