The butterfly effect of us getting Lane is pretty crazy. I think getting Underwood would have given Kelly one more year (this season) to make things right. Similar to Napier and Florida with Lagway.
Also probably means Woodward is still here which means Wade wouldn’t have been hired for MBB.

Yeah…that triggered us offering more to get nuss back, more portal additions, led to BK having no excuses , and he face planted forcing us to recognize the fact that he just ain’t it.
If underwood comes I wonder if the powers that be would have given him a pass on the hopium he would progress in year 2?

Yep, and everyone on here would be debating whether THIS was the week that Kelly and Sloan would finally figure it out to get Underwood on track and hopefully not struggle to pull away from La Tech in the 4th quarter.

He's got a lot of talent. If you have him 2 years with Lane, it would be different. I'm all about seeing Kiffin with the #1 recruit in the nation at QB.
FWIW, I like Longstreet and Clark and think they fit what Lane likes in QBs, but don't rule out the possibility of Underwood hitting the portal and us being in contact.
