I’m just curious how long you’ve been an LSU fan? I’m only asking because you, and some of the others, act like LSU fans being critical of the coach and staff as some kind of new phenomenon. I’ve been a fan for a long time and remember the Help Mac Pack days from the 60s until he finally hung up the whistle in 1979. It’s been that way for just about every LSU coach since I’ve been a fan. I wonder what some of you would have thought about fans before the interwebz.

I recall Coach Stovall who was one of LSU’s more decorated players, yet he was roasted by fans then fired just for one one poor season at LSU even though he signed Hilliard and James, then beat the Bear in Tuscaloosa. And Charlie Mac turning loose the passing on Rice for 70 points , then becoming conservative and afraid and losing to Alabama 3-0 in a game which LSU never crossed the 50. Mac remind you of anyone?

This is a coach who had the greatest college football season ever. This is a coach who just defeated the coach of a top ten team, despite being outmanned and outgunned.

No! It wasn’t worthy of all the criticism. It wasn’t just a tongue lashing, it was a damn lunching!
it shocks me that so many people are loyal to the coach instead of being loyal to LSU. I just don’t get it.

They have something for butt burn, it’s called Crown Royal. Make you forget your pain. Coach O has next year to burn me and prove me wrong.

I’m still in too. All the fans who quit are not welcomed back.

Exactly how are we defining quit? I think all the posters that come here have stayed pulling for the guys that are out there playing. What type of fans are the ones who quit?

Did I quit because I used the opt out option to rollover my 2020 season tickets to the 2021 season?

Who are these fans that quit? What constitutes quit?
