I honestly believe with a running QB, it would open up the run game. It’s not like we didn’t run it well at times.
Also if Nuss could complete deep balls. We’re just so fricking predictable it’s easy to defend the run. We’ve got a QB who is no threat to run or beat you over the top. The Oline isn’t great but they had good moments. Nuss had a lot of time and instead of running, he’d throw into triple coverage or check it down.

Dan Orlovsky and Booger were ripping Kelly and the offense a new one last night. Orlovsky said the OL doesn't fire off the ball ( basically calling them soft ) and Booger was calling Kelly and all the offensive staff and players out.

You miss the point — his pocket presence is bad even on occasions when he has had ample time.
It’s just bad. So you mix bad with more bad & you get irredeemably bad.
MBV at least gives you an angle by which to attempt to mask the deficiencies. Alternatively, we could just keep smashing our bleeding heads into a brick wall. That’ll certainly work.

La Tech exposed it and we do not have the coaches to fix it. Davis needs to be replaced, Sloan has got to go too.

is why we needed to play VB Ole Miss did that because they knew the o line was that bad and that Nuss will not run. On a few of those plays Nuss could have run for 15 or more yards. The fact that he didn’t is EXACTLY why Ole Miss used that defensive scheme VB would have forced them to do something different
I don’t disagree.

And not one reporter will question Kelly for not sitting Nuss. I hope a caller asks and presses him for an answer. Kelly makes too much money to control the media like he does. LSU media is pussy soft.
