Throwing 14 passes for 46 yards isn't playing well.

his only INT was RR's fault IMO

Are you kidding? That ball was thrown six feet over his head! RR's lucky he still has ribs. That was a horrible throw.

Randle could have caught that ball, but it was a horrible pass.

FIFY

Randle found a hole in the defensive zone and had a giant window for JJ to hit him in. Plain and simple, that pass is a microcosm of our passing game.

some respect

Ok, some, but he's terrible. Lee is our guy and isn't getting the playing time he needs to score us some points. The proof is in the puddin!

JJ's legs were the only reason this game was close. I thought that the INT was way high even for RR though.
I think he played well though. I feel that the receivers could have help him but instead made some key drops.

JJ played a little better then he has been, but still no where near "good". JL played about average as well. The problem was the O-line. They looked like they did last year...they just sucked. Had no pass block at all. Auburn brought four guys, and yet we still couldn't give our QB the time to throw.

We must have watched different games. Jefferson is mediocre at best.

If that's the case, the coaches need to sit down with them and remind them that we play as a unit, with each person doing his best to support the other 10 on the field.

Or, as Les Miles would put it, "Gentlemen, on this team we all play with each other."

That was on JJ that pass was way over his head, he barely got is fingers on it and he is 6'4". Of everything out of Miles mouth that pissed me off the most. RR was wide open and the QB couldn't get him the ball.

The WRs are playing the same for both QBs. JJs passes are never good putting them in a position where they are susceptible to injury. He leads too much, it's too low or high a lot of the time, and he rarely hits a guy in route. He's bad! He did keep us in the game with his legs, but I choose to believe that if Lee is in the game the whole time, we score points, and still run well while his pass opens up the DLINE.

I agree. Every QB throws the ball differently, different spin, different velocity, different flight patterns). I think the alternating QB's are killing our recievers. They dropped passes for both QB's Saturday. We should stick with 1 QB...

He needs to be moved to H-Back a la Melvin Hill.

Why?

Doesn't he have the worst Qb rating in this galaxy?

Tolliver basically quitting on the play

Whoever thinks this knows nothing about football. People need to stop saying this.......Tolliver was trying to shield his defender to receive a pass. He is 6'-5", he was in essence, trying to "block out" his defender, to have a chance to catch the ball, draw a penalty.....something.....he never thought like the rest of us that Lee would try to run his slue-footed arse for 6 yards.....if JJ was in on the play, he would have blocked just by the nature of JJ(he's a runner), but the nature of JL, he was just as confused as we were watching it......he got caught in a bad situation like everyone else and if anyone thinks otherwise, they have a very simplistic/elementary thought process when it comes to this sport.

No i'm pretty sure they gave JL the green light to run on that play. I'm pretty sure they told him the D ends were going to crash in and if he didn't see a man open to go for it. Toliver saw JL running but couldn't lay a block on his defender because his defender had his arms around Toliver's waste (defensive holding?). Anyway, either way there should have been a block there by Toliver regardless of if it's JL's nature to run or not. Furthermore the WR's should have been blocking all night. If you go back and look at the south carolina game and the state game they had great success running the ball on the outside as long as the WR's were holding their blocks.

Auburn's pressure defense suited JJ more than Lee this week. While JJ ran effectively, his passing is still horrible.

We need to face the fact that we have a mediocre offensive line, mediocre QBs, and less than mediocre offensive coaching.
