If three defeats is a pretty good job in 2018, why wasn't it a pretty good job in 2015.

It was a good win. It helped a lot that we played a team with a terrible defense, but it was a good win. What it says about O I don't know.

Probably three straight non competitive losses. That's exactly what happened.

As I also discussed earlier, 2012 was better than this year because going 10-2 (6-2) is better than going 9-3 (5-3). It just is, even if a bowl win skews the rankings after the season is already

Weren’t we 6-2 in the sec last year...but we lost our bowl game...if not last year would have been better than this year?

Final rankings are used to show how well your team did compared to the rest of teams...you can’t complain about 3 losses finished 14th in 2010 but 7th in 2009...the higher ranking determines which 3 loss season was better

2 losses to much inferior teams

Um, I’m not even going to bother to point out the big fricking piece that you’re missing here.

I’m going to have faith you can figure it out on your own.

i don’t put the atm loss on the coaches. When numerous other fan bases and the national media all saw what many of us saw in relation to officiating then it’s fair to say I’m not being a homer in chalking that one up to home cooking or whatever you want to call it.

Atm literally got as many chances and as much time as they needed to finally pull ahead. I don’t blame Orgeron for that. We got screwed and it was very obvious.

As far as the bowl game goes, UCF was #8 in the nation and had won 25 in a row. They’re a good team. Should LSU have won? Yes absolutely.

To be fair though, LSU had every reason to come out uninspired like Georgia did following a very disheartening loss. Orgeron didn’t let that happen. That says he did a good job as a leader. Like him or not you can’t really dispute that point.

As I said, I still have concerns, but Orgeron did a great job in bowl prep especially getting the team ready mentally and emotionally. I will absolutely give the guy credit for that.

I will criticize where I think it’s warranted but I’ll also show up to say he did a great job. And as far as getting the team ready and coming out ready, he did a great job.

Not sure why it’s gotta be one extreme or the other. There are areas to get better for sure and there are things to feel very good about

I absolutely wouldn’t argue with anyone that wanted to take that position.

2011 was an incredible season, without question.

Great job? His best season is a 3 loss season.

With this particular team???....yea he did a good job. This team WAS NOT that talented man for man...sorry it wasn't.
To win 10 games with this schedule....and basically have one of our losses handed to us by the cheating fking refs....I'd say he's done a good job

BUT.......fire Steve!!!!!! He's still got to go.

there arent 3 teams more talented than us on this past year's schedule.

The most talented team doesn't always win...especially when the other team gets "help." You know this.

Well at least the philosophy isn't "attack the other guys strength" like the last HC

It won us a NC didn't it?

I've wondered what's everyone's problem with that statement? It follows a logical thought process. If you're able to not only neutralize an opponent's strength but turn it into a liability, you're probably going to win the game, and he did just that to great effect most times. Some of you just go out of your way to miss the point.
