His velocity hasn’t been there the last few weeks. He isn’t close to the pitcher he was late last year.

I don’t think he would be throwing if he was hurt.

He wanted to sacrifice a live chicken before the game, but some idiot brought him a bucket of KFC instead.

They could have at least gotten Popeyes.

Gilbert is hurt. He doesn’t have huge MLB aspirations so he’s trying he best to finish is college career out. He’s giving it his all.

He is hurt and has been hurt. It’s obvious. That’s why he has just collapsed this year. With all of our other pitchers’ injuries, Caleb is just doing his best to get through the season.

To be fair, he wasn't the pitcher he was late last year...until late last year. He was just "ok" most of the year before that. Late last year was the anomaly. This year has probably been more of the mean. An ok pitcher who is capable of a really good outing here and there, but not someone you necessarily count on to be a frontline guy

Gilbert should start NO MORE!

His last "several starts" have been questionable at best. If I were Manieri, he'd have lost my trust.

Here is a guy who went from "starter" to absolute-unreliable. He has conspicuously tanked at all the critical times he was inserted or started.

If it's not physical, it is mental.....or something else!!

Enough already on Gilbert!!
