This may become a tradition.

I watched the replay last night, and TV really doesn't do it justice. It looked really cool in the stadium. I am still shocked that it started on an offensive series.

Was there ever a reason for the lights given in the other thread?

The Clemson fans were doing this during their game, too.

You can thank the WWE and Bray Wyatt's firefly's for this. It does look cool though.

I was in the SEZ Upper deck and noticed there was a small group of students who started it, maybe 6 people or so. Then it spread like wildfire.

It's just the led on everyone's phones. You can download a free app that allows you to strobe it. It looked pretty cool in the stadium. The first I've ever seen it was at the Garth Brooks concert in Nola last year.

agree, tv doesn't do it justice. It was cool in the stadium and curious why it was done as well.

It appeared to start in the student section, and then people around the stadium joined in. Most people just turned on their flashlight/flash. A few people set theirs to strobe.

I love it. It kind of gives the feel of cameras flashing at a huge play or of a photo finish in a race. Very cool.

I figured it was because the" lights" finally came on for the offense

Here's a gif that was on another board this morning where you can see the lights a little better. It was a really cool moment.
