That dude probably trashed that email and didnt even read it. You're lucky GG even took his valuable time to respond to you.

Here's another quote from GG, and I too have no link for it:

Whats wrong with that quote? It's very accurate.
People get mad at GG for telling the truth. I used to be like that until I started realizing he was right most of the time.

Early on in Miles career here you could probably say that. Yes he was the Mad Hatter, gunslinger but as the years went on, and they kept winning, most could see that luck wasn't the only factor in the equation. He recruits very well and when you field a team with great players, they make exceptional plays on a regular basis. Call it luck if you want.

Your first mistake was to believe anything said on Twitter by anyone.

hopefully that is one step closer to glen not being allowed at LSU.

While it is my hope that they cut down on his access, I don't think he has any to speak of. No one in their right mind would let someone who blasts the program as much as he does any where near it. Unfortunately, the way he makes his name is not on access, it is by passing off baseless speculation as information he gleaned from reporting. Basically, he says inflammatory things while giving the impression, if not flat out misleading people into believing, that he has credible sourcing for his opinions. He is a hack--no other way around it. Unfortunately for the consumers of sports information, denial of access has no effect on his playbook.

He still has media credentials. Those could be taken away and he would have to buy a ticket like everyone else.

@G_Guarantee Thanks for the support.Social Media has blurred a lot of lines however there are still expectations/standards for journalists.
Glad to see Michael Bonnette respond like this. The best way to make a troll to go away is to stop feeding it. Guilbeau's food is web site hits, readership, twitter followers/responders, and buzz about his comments. If people stop reading or discussing or following him on twitter, it will have a greater impact than anything.

Yep. A few years ago Songy was bitching about LSU cutting back on media passes when he wasn't offered one. They could easily tell this dickbag so sorry and move on. Problem with Guilbeau is, for whatever reason, people in the media love him. Mascona, Hannagriff, Feinswog, Ott, etc. all talk about how much they like his work. Dude would still have access to info and he'd still release stupid shite every other day. In fact, I don't want to even imagine what a scorned Guilbeau would come up with. All of the animosity he shows towards LSU now is because of the way he was run out of the Advocate and because Les pulled back on a lot of the media access to the program. Cut him off and who knows what kind of shite he'd come up with.

I looked to see if the Shreveport Times has an ombudsman, but sadly could not find an answer. If they have one, I couldn't identify who it is after a cursory search.
