It's not trashy at all, not even a little. Don't let this ridiculous OT nonsense get to you. These people sit around and tell others what to do with their money and call people they've never met trashy. There really isn't much in this world that is more trashy than that.
If you want a tattoo and it fits in your budget, doesn't interfere with your and your SO is okay with it, get as many as you want. Congrats on your success and baby. Good luck with the tattoo.

Doing things that are trashy does not preclude someone from making money and supporting a family. There are plenty of red necks with money.

Do you know my situation? My son was conceived though choice. My and my ex (together for 6 years, we seperated over her depression that lead to sex addiction, and many other issues...). She was considered completely incapable of conceiving a child. So we decided that after being together for 3 years we would stop trying to prevent conception. After 2 years she got pregnant, my son is a gift not a mistake. My ex suffered severe post partum depression afterwords, multiple suicide attempts and bad coping methods. But I'm sure you knew that right? I must be an irresponsible child because o had a kid a 21 though am I right?
