You could still get in while I was there, then that fire incident happened and ruined the fun for everybody. Since it was a public structure they were required by law to keep a gate open (as I understood it, could be wrong), but that incident gave them the out to keep it locked up.

Yeah. I would not recommend going in if you don't have a pass to be there. There is a certain LSU cop that gets off on that sort of trespassing and will try and throw you under the jail. BTW, I'm a little let down at LSUs jail. They are lacking team and school spirit in there.
I do remember not that long ago, the stadium was always open. Ahh, the good ol days. Me and a buddy walked in a few years ago on a Tuesday in April and were just standing behind the fence at field level. Out of no where, this 6-8 dude just appeared and asked us "what is your purpose here". When we told home we were just looking around, big fans, he said "get to stepping" and escorted us out. I think it was Karl Malone's brother.
So moral here is, be careful if you go. YES, there are cameras, YES, they are watched, and YES, you can go to jail for it. Just throwing it out there.

In college, Ole Miss' was always left open. Average joe students would run the bleachers and I knew a few guys who brought chicas to the 50 at 2 AM to show em the good foot.

Bright as shite. Only half of one Led panel was on too; they flashed blue, green, and red every 5 seconds or so.
