What has Les Miles done to deserve such blind allegiance?

47-12 record, 2 SEC west titles, an SEC championship, 4 blowout bowl victories, and a NC....all in 4 years mind you.

No...i have seen some sloppy play here and there but what coach hasnt.

Well the idiots were all lining up behind Georgia's O before we played them (they put up 52 on Arky), but conviently after we shut them down (I believe we only allowed one first down in the first half) it was because they sucked...UGA has talent and we were at their place I dont care what they did vs UT we have a damn strong Defense...and about "florida light" you dont think urban meyer of all people was trying to "hold back" on the points? He is the king of running up the score if he could have he would have done it...he took the only think he could-the dive and only scored 13 points

I'm curious as what you define as mediocre. 8-4? 9-3? The same types of records that we had before Miles started coaching?
So thats what would make you happy each year? Its nice to know LSU can pay a coach 4 Million a year to go 8-4 or 9-3 and that no big deal.

Most of you guys need to grow up. I've been following LSU football since the 50's long before most of you were thought of. Somehow, most of you identify your self worth with how well LSU does in football. Any comment about LSU is taken as tho it were an attack on your person. Just shows immaturiy. Most of what I write is targeted at that immaturity. It can be very entertaining

What I can prove, is that even in the latter years, after Saban had supposedly resurrected the program, Miles has a better W-L record. You can argue that he did it with Saban's recruits, but Miles won more games with Saban's recruits than Saban did. You can point out the talent discrepancy, but doesn't Miles get any credit for building that talent discrepancy?

At the end of the day, you might not see the same "intensity" or the "killer instincts" but Miles' teams have produced. They've gotten wins, and that's what matters.

Anything else is 100% subjective and refutable.

The offer is still on the line for anyone. A lifetime ban says LSU doesn't lose 4 games this year.

Now we know who he wants....

[quote]Look Mr. Sammy, the first 4 years were with Saban's recruits.

You're a complete idiot. It appears Saban won his first SEC with DiNardos players. It is a fact Saban averaged 3.20 losses a year over 5 years with LSU

I hope you are right and LSU goes 10-2 or 11-1, but looking at the way we have played, that's not realistic. We could easily be 3-3.

Miles has only lost 3 or more games once in his LSU career. Saban AVERAGED 3.2 losses per year.

In Nick Saban's first SEC title, he was skull dragged by florida, 44-15, and lost to a 5 win Ole Miss team. He lost three games.

The following year, he lost 5 games with the worst offensive performance over the course of a year in LSU history. LSU lost 31-0 to Bama, 31-7
to Auburn, 38-20 to Texas. He additionally lost to Arkansas, allowing them to go 80 yards in about 45 seconds.

After winning the SEC and MNC (losing to UF in the process, I may add) he then returned a ton of talented yet poorly organized players who went 9-3, losing to Auburn, and getting skull dragged by UGA, 44-15. He was within 2 minutes of losing to Troy as well.

Nick Saban has been a head coach for 16 years,
and he AVERAGES 3 losses a year. If you take out his years at Toledo, he averages FOUR (4) losses
per year.

LINK

Bama will beat us with their defense and they will beat Florida in the championship game.

Bama will probably lose to USC this week, Spurrier has never lost to Saban....ever, even with less talented teams. Urban Meyer is twice the coach of Nick Saban, the man who made losing 3-4 games a year and looking good at it a profession.

I'm going to laugh my arse off when Miles has a better record than Saban for the second time in three years.

Make sure you make the excuse that LSU has more talent, despite the fact Saban has signed 90 players and allegedly had the #1 recruiting class the last two years.
------------------------------------------------

Your arse has been officially exposed for the moronic fraud you are.

For that matter, Goose can't respond to the proof that Saban has been more than a three loss coach his entire life.

Jeez, you act like Urban didn't lose 5 games a couple of years ago. If we had Perrileaux even just for last year, JL is in a much better position to succeed and JJ doesn't even see the field. You r tards jumping ship from Miles just need to cool the jets.

If you didn't give a rat's arse as you put it you wouldn't reply to the post. People like you, Choctaw, are suspected of being an idiot, but then you open your mouth and remove all doubt.

4 years from now the only thing we will be used to is hearing from stupid pieces of shite like you raving about LM. Sonnyboy, you are stupid. Why do you keep posting and letting the whole world know? Do you have any shame?

hope everyone who thinks LSU will go 10-2 or 11-1 is right,

Then shut up, a-hole.

but that flys in the face of what we have seen already.

5-1 and top ten. Yea that really tells us things are bad. Idiot.

We could easily be 3-3 right now.

But, we are not. We are 5-1. I guess that pisses stupid mofos like you off.

Bama will beat us because of their defense. Ole Miss will beat us because we cannot put pressure on the quarterback, thus Snead will pick us apart like he did last year.

You seem to forget we are playing damn fine defense this year. Last year we had an ordinary defense. bama has shown nothing special on offense. So, go to tuscaloser and slob on the gumps. Snead? He has shown nothing this year. He is suffering from having an inexperienced line, just like LSU is. Difference is, LSU has running backs and Ole Miss has Mcluster and that's it.
Everyone knows that you want LSU to lose. It would justify your hatred of Les Miles. Take the advice I gave before. The world will be better off.
The same is possible with Arkansas.
