re: Get over neck and kids being exposed to “bad words”

To say ‘you suck’ is okay. The other chant, STTDB, is different...it is both vulgar, crass, and classless!!! It is embarassing to sit at a game and have visitor fans witness LSU students have no better judgment or self-control!!! To some it is more than having children hear ‘bad’ words...it sends the message that this behavior is acceptable. Hopefully, the majority of these kids know better. Show some pride and represent your
university, parents, and most importantly YOURSELF better.

When my kids were little I just pointed at the student section when they chanted and told my kids that was a bunch of white trash.
They get it.

My son just stood up in his crib and started yelling STTDB over and over. Look what y'all have done! Think of the children!

Well I can tell you I have been to many games with the people you speak of that I guess are so “high class” because they are doctors/lawyers/ceo/business professional (I guess your profession is what makes you classy now) and not a single one of them is above yelling “STTDB” at an LSU football game!

Did you do that while holding your Apple tinni in your other hand?

Obviously, your kids will grow up to be mutants.

STTDB isn't bad because of the vulgarity, it's bad because it's 4th grade drivel. It's embarrassingly childish. You would think university kids would have some creativity.

what do you want? some scholarly paper to be recited during the game ? the chant rhymes with "talkin out the side of your neck bitch" thats where the chant originated from

And because of this your not raising them the best way possible? I would say your kids just don’t have your respect as a parent and authority figure if you can not handle the situation in tiger stadium over a chant to raise them responsibly. These sheltered kids go to school living this bubble world and then go off to college and don’t know what to do with themselves without mommy and daddy holding there hand every day.
Good luck baw!

You think it's appropriate to say, "Suck that tiger dick, bitch," in front of a 5 year old girl? What the frick is wrong with you?
If you really care about your child being exposed to that kind of behavior then leave her at home like I did. You're not entitled to have your child freely roam a world with padded corners and soft language. Being a parent means making sacrifices.
