I say just wait for Georgia. Get there undefeated and we'll see what a top 5 matchup atmosphere produces in Tiger Stadium. Overall the experience is not what it once was but I think we can still get up for big games

It's all about the product on the field, people don't like to watch LSU struggle through SLU and LA Tech. And we are not playing for anything maybe 3rd are 4th place in the SEC. Look at the last 5 years record.

I over heard a conversation Sat night during the Tech game.
One man- probably about 35 or so- telling another he was gone.......had to beat the traffic.....................to DENHAM SPRINGS.

I mean come on.........I have been driving back to Monroe after nearly every game since the 80's..............and I have only left early maybe 3 times. Mostly during crappy weather.

I don’t anymore. Crowds never bothered me when I was younger, but the older I get, the more alone I want to be.

Don't drink yourself into a stupor then bitch about stadium not selling alcohol when you know the policy. You're not a victim of stadium policy.

I agree 100%... unfortunately not everyone has self control or cares as much. I’m just saying what I saw when I was there. People passed out on the the ground in the seats, sitting down with face in hands. That’s a big majority of the student section.

I will say this as well... I feel like when we play lesser opponents people get it in their mind that it will be a blowout by halftime and will probably leave. Well, when it’s closer than we thought people already predetermined they were going to leave.

Tiger Stadium will still be its old self for the Georgia and Alabama type games.

It will never be good for OOC games and shite SEC games.

Agree. Wait, did they sell alcohol in the 60s, 70s and 80s?

The frat section has always cleared out. Show up in the 2nd and leave at half. Hang in there. This will reverse.

e also used to have a significantly smaller stadium in the good ole days

Meaning 80,000 people looked a lot more full, less traffic,

Combined with cheaper tickets and an overal cheaper game day experience. People were more likely to go.

Not to mention going to the game was the only way to watch 75% of the games as recently as the late 90s

Seat license fees. All,games on TV. Administration screwing up the game day experience. Banning fraternity tailgates. Traffic is awful. Crappy home schedule. Better this year. Not yet though. The SLUmgame was awful.

You mean other than the fact that they pretty much give you a full cavity search before you go in? Geez some of the people on this board

You have to be kidding me. If you are in the student section it's ziplocks, use them and strategically place them you freaking rookies. I literally starting wearing cowboy boots so I could sneak alcohol into LSU games.

I'm sure that every decade the stadium's intensity has decreased, but Tiger Stadium fell off of a cliff starting in 2012. We ain't ever getting it back either. You can fool yourself, but winning won't help.
I disagree.

A new competent and non-dysfunctional "Athletic Administration" that's more "Fan Friendly" can drastically clean it all up fast.

Aramarkalleva has to go at any and all costs!..……..

Kids get drunk, can't bring any alcohol in, by halftime they are sobering up and starting to feel like a bag of arse and lose interest in the game. It's really not that
How's it different now than when "Kids got Drunk" in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, Early 2000's. The Mass Exodus is only a fairly recent phenomenon.

Can the 90s Tiger fans also get some love? Know one was more loud/annoying than me.
