Good read, thanks. They picked a great night to be in Tiger Stadium.

Overall, the energy of Tiger Stadium was simply incredible. By the end of the game I was completely exhausted; I got sucked right into whatever magic that place possesses. The best way I can describe it is that it’s like the outside world seems to no longer exist. Everything else seems to melt away and for a few hours you’re in a dream. I don’t think it’s a place where you can just sit back and watch a game. It’s a place where you have a shared experience with everyone else in the crowd, a place where you feel like you’re more than just yourself, a place where you feel like there’s nothing else in the world that matters as much as what’s happening in front of you.

Pretty much says it all, for me.

Agreed. I had some Ohio State fans sitting right in front of me for the Florida game as well.

They were very complimentary of LSU and Tiger Stadium. I overheard them talking and one of them said something along the lines of "I love the Horseshoe to death, but this place is on another level". They were awesome guys too - they were really into the game, learning the cheers, and actually being louder/making more noise on defense than the majority of the LSU fans in our section.

My son and I sat in the Ohio State section for the National championship game. They have great fans win or lose.

He might have said it, but that's not who the quote should go to.

Who should it have gone to?

ETA: I feel like I am reading a Tucker Max story but PG-13 version.

It’s Jamie Lannister’s quote.
