On just about every official listed lineup it had Watford at the 3 last year.

Watford staying another year? Everyone else needs to stay. Watford may be a second round at best.

General Wade will be gone from here and everyone on the rant will "hate" him.

So ready

was also very interested in this years tourney team, the whole year being what it was I wanted to see what they did at end of the year.. I really thought the team could beat anybody, and could lose to anybody. Really upset we will never no if they pulled it all together and would have eachother backs when it really mattered... I thought they would and that we would win at least 2 games

Watford gone.
Javonte problem spot. Need better leadership, defense, and decision making at the 1.

I think they’d have won a game possibly 2 depending on matchups

All I wanted going into last year after losing Tre and Naz was to get back to the tournament which was certainly happening.

Are we still going with this narrative? The kid had TWO horrible turnover games at the very beginning of the season (literally games 2 and 3) and a chunk of the fanbase NEVER let him live it down the rest of the season. That, despite the fact he had the best Asst/TO of all PG's in SEC play. And, he was the primary PG on a team that finished with the 4th most efficient offense in the NATION. His only "sin" is that he didn't make the highlight plays that Waters did. But from an overall offensive perspective LSU didn't suffer, AT ALL (over the course of the season), without Waters.

Defensively he didn't match Waters's steal numbers, but he was FAR from the only guy on last year's team that didn't defend. Almost NO ONE on last year's team played defense. You don't get to be as terrible as LSU was on defense by just one guy playing poorly.

Smart is fine. And there is no one better on the team at creating out of nothing and making a tough shot than Smart.

I’d say his decision making, at least in terms of distributing the ball was pretty good. He didn’t try to do too much with the ball (hence the lack of turnovers). He doesn’t have the court vision that Waters had, but he also took a lot less risks.

His shot selection improved as the season went on and hopefully that will continue. As long as he doesn’t try to be James Harden we will e just fine.

He really played well in the sec

You just have to realize he isn’t a true PG. more of a combo guard.

I’m curious to see how he plays without Waters or Mays next to him. He’ll have to commit to being more of a distributor. Needs to make that extra pass. I’d prob start with having the veteran Manning next to him & not a tFr. Though out of all the Fr, I think Jalen cooks development is the most important. He’s next in line.

It is comical how our fan base seems to consistently do this in basketball. It's the same thing that happened with Mays in his sophomore and junior years regarding his ability to finish at the rim and turnovers. He had a bad stretch early in the season or at the beginning of SEC and people latched on to it despite his continued improvement and final stats being great. Similar thing was done with respect to Naz last season.

He went radio silence. It's easy to talk on a message board. Especially for people who crave a thumbs up. It's sad.

What's the difference between "literally games 2 and 3" and "games 2 and 3"?
