There were multiple balls hit to his left that he wasn't able to even put a glove on.

Jones at 3B, Edward at 1B is probably how it will shake out

Jones doesn't have a great arm and his frame still needs to fill out. I could see him not staying at 3B/SS when Nola leaves. He might lose his range/speed once he fills his frame out. And he never had a very good arm to begin with. He'll probably get a lot more power as he gets bigger though.

Hopefully, he keeps his range and moves to SS when Nola leaves after next year.

This is a jackass statement. Why criticize our recruits who have a chance to sign for millions. Doesn't mean that they wouldn't want to play for LSU. Offer several million to the 35 you make the 2011 roster and see how many "want" to be there.

Who the F&#( was criticizing recruits? He didn't say anything negative about them. He just said he wouldn't cry about them not being here. It is the right attitude. Support the ones we've got, and wish the others well but let them go.

Ain't nobody buy my family worth crying over.

That's what I was thinking if he didn't have the arm, but Adam said he does.

His arm is not terrible at all. Its good enough for any infield position probably but that doesn't mean he has a great arm. Its probably average.

Just watched a video (yewtube) of Jones at batting practice. That kids got a sweet swing and has a ton of bat speed. Anybody have a vid of him playing in the field?

Actually Jones does have a good arm...a really good arm. He didn't pitch much this spring due to a football injury to his shoulder. He supposedly still hit 94 mph on the gun.

Big statement here, but Jones may be the best player on the team the moment he steps on campus.

I've heard Jones might move to the outfield.

you realize those projections are for playing in the majors? If they think he can still possibly end up as a big league SS (which they do) he can play 3B for LSU if he gains a car tire around his waist.
