He said he told the coach he was nauseated (after taking Robertson knee to the head) but he didn't want to come out. So the coach let him stay in. He ended up hitting the RBI hit that gave them the lead. I can't believe a coach would leave a player in when he clearly has signs of a concussion.

I found the comment interesting. I hope it's not a concussion.

Your posts are golden, Tom. Excuse me for being concerned about the health of a 18 year old kid. I had 11 concussions in highschool and still suffer from the consequences of continuing to play with them decades later.

I ran full speed into a cinderblock wall after a layup and I played, got called for a charge and hit my head... I threw up for 3 weeks and couldn't go in the sun. It's not a fun injury and you don't realize the risk you pose by playing through it.

my mom had one recently. nothing to play with. hit her head then started throwing up shortly thereafter. wasn't til a few hours later she realized it was a concussion and was in the hospital a few days. people hear the word concussion so much I think they are desensitized to the effects.

That's what happens when you've got heart. Wish we had it.

Y'all clearly haven't read up on concussions and long term health effects. CTE makes people kill themselves, lose their memory, complete dementia and early onset Alzheimer's... If being concerned about that makes me a vag oh well. A kids health is nothing to gamble with, especially a kid who has a chance to go pro in their sport. Y'all probably think the pitcher who threw 300 pitches this week was awesome for being tough and see nothing wrong with that kind of workload. I hope none of you procreate with your inability to understand the gravity of an injury on someone's life, future and career.

I'd say it's significant for a couple reasons. 1 Kevin o Sullivan should be reported for sweeping it under the rug. Secondly the kid is who beat LSU today. So it's a double edged sword. If it would have been Mainieri who left an LSU kid in after finding out they were experiencing symptoms y'all would be calling Joe Alleva to get Mainieri outed for not caring about the well being of our players. People like you make me fear for the future of our country.

It's a concussion but whatever that's Florida's issue. He will sue them in 20 years.

If you are puking from a concussion, that's a bad fricking concussion.

I had a couple where I was playing on autopilot for like 2 quarters and the finally "woke up." Couldn't remember the trainer's name.

Never so much as felt nauseated.

Admire the kid's heart, but Florida could get a nasty letter from the ncaa. There's a reason you're not supposed to let the kid decide this for himself.
