Both teams have seen better days, but it should be interesting. If Del Rio is back it could help your offense and we have two OL starters out as well plus I doubt LF will play.

Nice post. I'm not used to this type of civility from the gator contingent being that I'm from southwest Florida (high concentration of gator fans) - especially during the Surrier and Meyer eras when we were literally the only known LSU fans in the area.

I'm not counting on injuries being a leg up; not in this conference and not with the level of athletes UF has on its roster. In 2013 Ole Miss kicked the crap out of us with 9 of their 11 starters out on D. Uf recruits better overall.

The noon kickoff will definitely take some excitement from the crowd - wherever this game ends up being played. Stay safe

Have an upvote, my friend! And get yourself a drink too, sounds like you need it more than we do at the moment.

Great post, Alumni Guy. I have been to at least 10 LSU games at the Swamp and it's a very intimidating place. Injuries or not, the Tigers will have their hands full.

Stay safe this week.

Alumni Guy, LSU fan in Clearwater driving up to game. If we wanted to catch the shuttle bus at the oak mall around 10, what time to leave Tampa? 7? 7:30. How bad does the interstate or 19 traffic get?

I can't say for certain, I live in south Florida, so my drI've is a little different. I'd give yourself 3 1/2 hours to be safe. I've never taken the shuttle so I can't be certain.

Fournette and Guice will be running against our 2nd team D-Line. That's not an exaggeration, every starter on our line is out.

I doubt Fournette plays, and we'll be down 2 starting OL, with another playing hurt.

Our entire OL has been banged up all year pretty much. You caught us at a good/bad time as well injury wise.

If Les was still coaching, I'd say Florida will win regardless of your current troubles. A few years ago, we lost to an Ole Miss team that had lost nearly all of its secondary, including some backups. We went in there and played like crap and lost.

I don't see Coach O, Ensminger and Aranda cutting y'all any slack.

Nothing personal. Just business.

That was a great post.

I will add that the weather will make the Swamp far from full. I have 3 tickets for the game and there is no way I'm going to attempt coming up from Orlando if half of FLorida is being evacuated the day before.

I'll enjoy this one from my living room, assuming I still have a house.

Might be the best line I've read on TD ever.

To be fair, our o-line is sorely depleted, and Fournette may take another week of rest. But sadness upon us because we don't have another starter in Guice. Lord KNOWS he's no good (that's sarcasm, the kid is incredible).

Otherwise, I think we score some, and I think our defense eats. I think we come out on top--or at least hope we do--but what'll be interesting is to see how exactly it plays out. Let's not forget, your gators aren't going down soft.
