I'm gonna guess that you've never been to a bowl game and definitely never to the Peach Bowl to see the Tigers play. Certainly feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I am just as upset as anyone that the season didn't go as we would have liked, but that does not change the fact that LSU road games and bowl games are fun as shite ... and given that I prefer Atlanta over Dallas, Memphis, Orlando and Tampa, yes I'm excited about the Peach Bowl. I've seen the Tigers play in all of those cities except Tampa and Atlanta is funner than all of them.

The stadium is better than any of the others (Outback, Cap1, Cotton, Liberty), the gametime is better than any of the others (night game), the matchup is better than any of the others, the crowd will be bigger than any of the others, and more people will be watching on TV the Peach than any of the others (it is the highest rated non-BCS game). And it is certainly debatable, but I like Atlanta better than any of the other cities. The only thing that favors Orlando or Tampa is the weather, but the weather is not 100 degrees and sunny in Florida in late December and early January that most like to claim. Not to mention Dallas, Orlando and Tampa are all "spread" out cities and the stadium isn't close to anything fun.

GT is 8-2 ATS this year. Some look at that and say we're due not to cover...but most don't say that.

Yall are dut not to cover, lol.

Seriously, though, a lot of that record ATS this season for GaTech has to do with GaTech being better than expected this year. It even sometimes takes Vegas a little while (half the season in this case) to catch on to the fact that a team is better than even Vegas thought initially.

I thought it would be higher. 3 points is usually given to a home team. This is 100% a home game for GT. Only a half a point favorite essentially? Seems very low for a ranked team against a non-ranked 5 loss team.

I was a bit surprised too, but if you look at it objectively LSU matches up very well with GaTech.

A run-first team in GaTech against a run-first defense with speed in LSU. A GaTech offense that doesn't have the skill position weapons or QB to fully take advantage of a mediocre LSU secondary. LSU matches up 100% better against GaTech than they would have against Texas Tech.

I'm not saying LSU will win, but it's certainly as good of a matchup for LSU as we could've hoped for.

The intangible in this game is LSU's defensive coaches and players and the entire DC search. Have they quit or will they come out with something to prove in this game?

No we don't.

Our "run first defense" is not that good. Look at what Moreno did to us for example. Also..speed.... Florida has speed. Georgia has speed. Hell, even Ole Miss has speed. LSU....speed...

Completly disagree with you. Our defense, coaching or not, is disgusting. They are constantly out of position, unsure of what their assignment is, who to guard, etc.....Traditional option teams DEVOUR this defense.

+1. It still isn't saying that much though.

Don't worry, we won't.

Indy Bowl! Indy Bowl! Indy Bowl!

Do I really need to answer this question?

I was hoping they would do this Ole Miss, Ark, Troy, UGA, etc....it ain't happening...not till LSU gets rid of that shithouse for a coach.
