I liked RF as well but GD gives us as fair a shake as anyone.

Verne's best days were definitely 15-25 years ago when he was still in Dallas. I think he's gone downhill every year for about the last 10. He needed to retire several years ago.

Best color guy in sports. He has always glowed about RS. Hes followed him since HS.
Danielson is probably the least biased guy I've seen. He'll tell you like it is. If your team is sucking it up, he'll let you know. You may not like it but that is how it is.
The most impressive thing about him is his knowledge of each team he covers. You can tell he does his homework and he'll even predict the play calling at times...very intelligent analyst.
I like him. It just sucks he has VL next to him to just give a total buzz kill...

Actually I like the combo, you have a man who knows his gameday stuff and you have a bumbling idiot who can't spell the simplest of names. You get valuable information and comedy at the same time.

Agreed. I hated listening to him until the 2009 season, when he made plenty of intelligent comments about LSU, both good and bad. He was pretty on the mark in just about everything he said. I sure hope he's right about Shep.

Danielson has been one of my favorites since the 2007 season. He one of those guys you would love to just sit down with and talk about football.

I hated the guy up until sometime during the 2008 season. I though he was completely anti-LSU; that kind of bias is unacceptable in any color guy. But for some reason, he's seemed a lot more balanced in his LSU comments over the past two years. I look forward to listening to him now, and again, I sure hope he's right about Shep. A breakout season by RS could almost singlehandedly lead us to an 11-2 season—or better.

Dude would call plays like he has a headset on before the snap. He goes to the midweek meetings and practices and he puts a lot into what he does.
He's also the best out there right now. Polar opposites with ole Verne....gotta cut Verne some slack though...however, he needs to make an exit. it's time.
