You seem to have a superiority complex, and should see a shrink. You alone decides what is good music, and what part of the state is trash. Keep digging son, you are on a roll!!!

It's a terrible song and personally brings me down a little whenever they play it, but a lot of fans react well to it, so I deal. No reason to start a thread about it and get blasted.

Least redneck of all the 14 SEC schools IMO

This is technically correct. Unlike other states, Louisiana was settled by several different ethnic groups. Redneck is term traditionally given to anglo protestant, under educated whites. Anglo Protestants settled in northern Louisiana. In south Louisiana, where LSU is located, our ancestors were french catholic, franco african/creole, and, like other southern states, african. It would be interesting to know what percentage of current LSU students are of anglo protestant decent. LSU is probably more "coonass" than "redneck."

They've been playing it for years. YEARS. Why is this all of a sudden an issue with you?

You prefer original songs unique to our state like Hells Bells? What about the unknown random rap?

Suggest your alternate song please. A crowd interactive song.

The first time I heard that in TS was in 05 when we lost. Now every time I hear it I think of that game. So yes not only take it out of the Pregame but ban it from all radio.

LSU isn't a high school in Abbeville

Louisiana is only about 16% French descent and it's difficult to believe LSU attendance would stray very far from that percentile, except likely lower with many out of state enrollees.
