quote:yes, i bought into all the hype. The reports he was the best at the manning camps. All the comments by Miles. I bought into it all. I thought Krags helped him turn the corner. After all that, how dare i believe that the starting qb of a team that was preseason top 5, who you heard num but good things about over the summer, could be a possible Heisman candidate.
Honestly, you are wasting time with 7th. He is the one who predicted JJ had a legit shot for the Heisman before the season started.

If Miles didn't trust Lee (as many JJ fans are saying) the logical thing would be to have a backup available you do trust.
This doesn't make sense. If you don't trust the backup why would you trust the backup's backup?

Either Miles used poor judgement or he didn't have a backup plan.
Poor judgement would be the answer.

In the end, Jefferson was never able to turn the corner. He will go down as one of the worst QBs at LSU. Unfortunate but true.

Personally, I think JJ would have been more effective outside the pocket, but it seemed Miles was determined to keep in him in there in passing situations. I don't think JJ was ever used to his strengths the past two years.

So you're essentially on record admitting that you're stupid?

It was on purpose. Miles now has the no experience excuse he can use all next year.
Lord forbid if we ever had a QB plan that thought ahead to the future
