By next weekend you will only remember they won the series. That’s what matters. At the time these games suck but over the course of the season you are going to have them.

You won the series with out 2 of your best hitters the whole series. Another for game 3 and one of your better relief pitchers early in the season.

Agreed...not a very enjoyable way to cap off the weekend. Good thing is that baseball has a damn long season and there are generally 4 games per week, so one game here and there is not really a big deal no matter how good or badly a team does.

Add into the fact that ND split with Purdue yesterday and lost to YOUNGSTOWN STATE today can’t make us feel really good,!

Well I don’t know how ND’s offense did this weeken, but I was definitely more impressed with their hitting than their pitching. We faced much better pitchers this weekend and we handled most of them well. That’s was a positive sign for me. We even had what 10 hits or so today? Pitching needs to get worked out and hopefully it will when we are healthy and as the veterans keep pitching
