That's the thing here. A lot of the JD fanboys would lose their minds if he played well and actually threw the ball accurately downfield. I believe lsus chances are slim either way, but with a guy that throws it maybe better chance.

Likely why he wasn't named starter, but maybe been working on decisions in practice and improved.

The game plan is to run the rock and let it rip. There is a legend of an unheralded backup QB leading the Tigers to victory in the SEC Championship game against a NC bound team in 2001. Lets hope history repeats itself.

Well, same as we unfortunately witnessed this passed weekend. Simplfiy the passing game lean hard on the running (how successful that will be???) and ?? our defense can TACKLE.OH forgot special teams, oh God special teams!

That's the problem. One QB is reckless with the ball and takes too many chances. The other is terrified to throw the ball into tight tight coverage or downfield.
If we had someone in between that would be ideal. Perhaps Howard is that someone.
